Personal Overview

I started out playing in under 7s for barkers butts when i was 5 and then have worked my way through the club the club , i am well known up the rugby , and have achieved some good things there and learnt a lot which has benefited my game. I have captained the Under 13s and 15s sides and last season being 2011-2012 I only played two games for the under 16s and then was injured after my rehab i was then selected for bench cover for the colts and then went on to start the last 3 games as blind side flanker. This season being the season 2013/2014 I have broke into barkers butts first team playing in midlands one , I have established myself as starting back row player also playing two or three games in the second row, I am currently the youngest player in the clubs first team. Now from playing in barkers first team I was picked up and have been playing Warwickshire under 20’s level rugby as a second row and sometimes in games been moved onto the back row.

Most recently I was asked to go out and play at a good standard of rugby out in New Zealand for a team in North Otago , unfortunately this has become a problem because of application for a Visa because of being paid and not being 18 70 get a work Visa.

Through barkers i have also became a fully qualified referee and a fully qualified touch judge , i ran the line for the clubs season for two season and have referred several games for the mini and junior section at the rugby club. The referring has also helped improve my game as well .

School Rugby :

I started my school rugby in year 7 when i attended the trail my coach Alan Foster contacted me after the trail and said i can see your a natural leader and asked me if i would captain the year 7 side. In year 8 and 9 i was then vice captain and then in years 10 and 11 i was selected to captain the side again . I won three Warwickshire Schools league titles and three 7s tournaments . Through School rugby i was selected to play for Coventry schools , and played for them every year through till year 11.I wasn’t selected for Warwickshire in years 9 and 10 and in year 11 i was offered a trial and was unfortunately injured at this time in the time i was injured i went away and worked hard on my tackling and ball skills. This helped me at club level and when fit again i lead my team to the final of the Coventry cup but lost.

Welsh Exiles :

The first time I play for welsh exiles was in Col-wyn-bay rugby club against a very strong north Wales squad and i learnt a lot from this game , even though we got heavily beat the way the north Wales team played and the way the conducted themselves and the way they listened and worked together was very good to see and take in. I then went to a training camp in north Wales again and trained over two days with the North Wales coaches and coaches from Welsh exiles. I was then selected to play for welsh exiles under 15s in a tournament back in north Wales again , and was said to have been one of the players of the day , i then received an email , that i had been selected for the north Wales training side , i then trained with this for about a month but was released because of the travelling and school. I am still in contact with them and hoping to maybe play for them again and lead to more things.
