Personal Overview

From the day I can remember, my life has revolved around the game of rugby. I have enjoyed every second of it, from playing tag rugby to now being involved with the Scotland U19 squad. Starting my junior rugby career at Drybrook RFC, which is located in the depth of the Forest of Dean (Gloucestershire), it is safe to say that I have learnt rugby in a very good environment. 

From the age of 12, I joined Ledbury RFC due to the dominace of the club in the local area. In my first season, we had an unbeaten season travelling around the Midlands to find the toughest games for our team. From this success I was able to represent my County of Birth (Herefordshire) for the next 4 seasons. This gave me the chance to play for the North Midlands School of Rugby Team.

In 2012, I decided to join the Scottish Exiles program to develop my skills as a player. The year after I maintaned my captaincy for the 2013 John Kyrle High School Tour to Canada.

Following John Kyrle High School, I joined Hartpury College to study a Level 3 BTEC course in rugby - with that came playing for the College AASE team. Now in 2016, I have been called up to the Scotland U19 squad and have also been playing for the Hartpury 1st BUCS team.

I pride myself at set piece, and my line-out throwing is my number 1 skill as I practise on a daily basis. Being on a "Strength and Fitness" program, it has recently improved my game dramatically, as I am now adding more of an open game to my skills. I also take huge pride in my defence as my statistics show 100% completion in all games I am involved in.
